IN CONVERSATION WITH: PIA MANCE

Pia Mance has always approached beauty and wellness with intention—refined, considered, and grounded in what actually works. As the founder of Heaven Mayhem, her world blends timeless design with modern ritual, a philosophy that carries through to her daily routine. In this conversation, we speak to Pia on pregnancy, pared-back essentials, and the thinking behind the Par Olive x Heaven Mayhem collaboration.

What role do ingestibles play in your routine and how has that evolved over time?

Honestly, ingestibles are a non-negotiable part of my morning. I think pregnancy accelerated that shift for me. When you're growing a person, you become very aware of what you're actually putting in your body and why. So I've stripped it back to what genuinely moves the needle for me rather than having twenty things on the counter that I halfheartedly rotate through. At the moment  I am sticking to my Perelel pre-natals and Par Olive of course.

Since becoming pregnant, what's shifted in how you think about skincare and long-term health?

I’m taking so much care to check all ingredients and it’s been a wake up call to me, the amount of ingredients I was actually putting in and on my body was crazy so I’m being much more intentional.

Have there been any rituals you've simplified or prioritised more during this time?

I’ve always prioritised sleep and try to get at least 8 hours each night.  Doing loads of movement throughout the day, doing long walks with my weighted vest,  stretching, staying consistent rather than pushing hard. I think pregnancy has a way of forcing you to actually listen to your body, and I've found that genuinely useful. I also swear by the pregnancy pillow - I told myself I would never get one of those and then I caved because of TikTok and I actually think it has changed my life. Everyone needs one.

How would you define the Heaven Mayhem woman?

She's someone who cares about quality and detail but wears things with ease rather than effort. She moves through the world with intention. She’s stylish and well-traveled. Curious about the world and culture and always creating trends.

How do you approach creating pieces that feel both directional and timeless?

During my design process, I like to ask myself a few questions… for example is this a product I’d actually want and wear? And whether I'd still want this in five years. Basically I always design with intentionality and timelessness in mind. I am also always drawn towards animal prints, fun textures to keep things modern and evergreen…

What does "longevity" mean to you, in beauty, wellness and in building a brand?

Consistency over time. In beauty, it means building habits rather than chasing results. In wellness, it means not burning yourself out trying to do everything and actually sustaining the things that work. And in brand building, it means being authentic and consistent with our messaging, branding, offerings and quality.

The next destination I'll be packing my capsule case to is... London, and if I manifest hard enough, somewhere in Italy or Greece not long after that. I need to be by the beach.

I am happiest when...

I see people wearing Heaven Mayhem in the wild.

I calm my nervous system by... Long walks and fleshing out all of my thoughts and ideas onto Claude.

My coffee order is... I don't actually drink coffee actually. Hot matcha with pistachio milk iis my order every single morning. Tache pistachio milk if they have it!

I'm currently watching / reading / listening... I've gone back to old Sex and the City episodes - it’s just a comfort show of mine. And podcasts constantly. The Burnout, The Bossticks, and Emma Grede are on heavy rotation right now. Books - baby books, lol!

In my handbag you'll find… A million lip liners, my wallet and my phone with our newest Heaven Mayhem phone case in Merlot. A par olive sachet, a bone broth sachet, another lip liner and some wired headphones.

The skincare product I always buy on repeat… Avene!! Vitamin C and the thermal water spray. French pharmacy skincare is the best.

My favourite in-clinic treatment is... Microneedling with PRP. I've actually been doing it throughout my pregnancy because I heard your blood quality during pregnancy is great, so the results are incredible. You can’t numb though when pregnant but you know what they say, beauty is pain!!

The best piece of beauty advice I've received... Sunscreen every day, no exceptions, no excuses. Lots of water and sleep. I think the best skin comes from within.
