SPICED APPLE COLLAGEN DONUTS WITH MAPLE GLAZE

A special treat, elevated. These spiced apple collagen donuts are soft, warming, and finished with a maple glaze that feels indulgent in all the right ways — designed for slow weekends, hosting, or moments that call for something a little extra.
Made with Par Olive Marine Collagen Superpowder, they bring together comfort baking and your daily ritual.
INGREDIENTS
– 120 g oat flour
– 40 g almond flour
– 1 tbsp Par Olive Marine Collagen Superpowder (Unflavoured)
– 1 tsp baking powder
– ½ tsp cinnamon
– ¼ tsp nutmeg
– pinch sea salt
– 1 small apple, finely grated (or 80 g natural applesauce)
– 1 egg
– 60 ml almond milk
– 1 tbsp maple syrup
– ½ tsp vanilla extract
Maple glaze:
– 40 g powdered sugar
–1 tbsp maple syrup
– pinch cinnamon
– ¼ tsp vanilla extract

METHOD
Preheat oven to 175°C and lightly grease a donut mould. In a bowl mix oat flour, almond flour, collagen, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and sea salt. In another bowl whisk grated apple, egg, almond milk, maple syrup and vanilla. Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth and spoon the batter into the donut mould. Bake for about 15–18 minutes until golden. Whisk powdered sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon and vanilla into a smooth glaze. Drizzle over slightly cooled donuts and finish with crumbled almonds.
